PLANKTON

The word Plankton goes back to the Ancient Greeks and means ‘the floating’.

Plankton is a public event organized by BC where artists in residency share their work in an informal and experimental context. These events take place in collaboration with other organizations to open up relationships depending on what the works unfold.

BC is interested in overlapping ideas, converging and dissident approaches that allow interesting exchanges between the artists themselves, the organizations and the public.

At this point Plankton takes mainly place in the frame of the program Thematics but random Planktons can happen, where BC invites artists that are or have been in residency.
