By using 300 GB of their personally filmed material from across Europe and North America, Jan Van Gijsel and Davis Freeman weave together video in a way that couldn’t have been predicted or planned. While Paul Lemp’s original score balances on the edge of sentimentality to evoke emotions rather than reason.
Tearjerker is the next natural step after Too Shy to Stare as the audience continues to interact throughout the piece by establishing their own personal connections with the material.
