Chris Dupuis is a trans-disciplinary artist working with video, performance, and text. His works have been presented at galleries, festivals, and artist run centres across North America and Europe.

My current research explores the relationship between body-based (choreographic/ performance) practices and the creation of written text. The project involves the creation of three pieces on three different themes, each of which includes: a script, a performance, and a book. The works begin with a physical exploration in studio which leads to the creation of a written text. The text is then translated to a solo performance which is in turn translated to a book. My process at Les Bains will see me begin the first phase of research for the second piece in the series.
